Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Berea Pirates (Berea, KY), 50-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Bracken County improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Polar Bears travel to Walton-Verona (Walton, KY) to play the Bearcats in a 2A District 5 battle on Friday, September 27. The Bearcats go into the battle with a record of 0-3.

The Pirates now have a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Gallatin County for a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. Berea will play a Wildcats team coming off a 21-6 non-league loss to Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.
