Texas High School Football - Lone Oak over Big Sandy

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX) and the host Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX), witnessed Lone Oak's football squad knock off Big Sandy by a tally of 33-22.

The Buffaloes (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Tioga (Tioga, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Tioga gained a win over Edgewood (Edgewood, TX), 30-27, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Wildcats battle the Ore City Rebels (Ore City, TX) in a 2A-1 Region III District 10 contest, on Friday, September 20. Big Sandy will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Rebels enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 48-12 non-league loss to Alba-Golden (Alba, TX).
