The Blanchard Lions edged the visiting Newcastle Racers football team by a score of 14-10 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions face the Guthrie Bluejays (Guthrie, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. Blanchard will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Bluejays enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 54-12 non-league win over Duncan (Duncan, OK).
