The Brookland Bearcats got by the host Pocahontas Redskins football team by a score of 21-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bearcats play the Bald Knob Bulldogs (Bald Knob, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. Brookland will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 34-12 non-league loss to Des Arc (Des Arc, AR).
The Redskins (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Southside (Batesville, AR). The Southerners go into the 4A Region 3 challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Southside nipped Batesville (Batesville, AR), 31-7, in a non-league challenge.
