The University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) football trounced the visiting Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV), 49-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Hawks now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Wheeling Park for a Two Rivers outing on Friday, September 20. University will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 48-13 non-league win over Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Buckhannon-Upshur drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Elkins (Elkins, WV) to clash with the Tigers in a Big Ten outing on Friday, September 20.
