With the win, Marshall County advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Marshals travel to Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY) to play the Maroons in a 5A District 1 battle on Friday, September 20. The Maroons go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Madisonville-North Hopkins lost 41-40 in their recent non-league battle against Fort Campbell (Fort Campbell, KY)

The Lakers now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Warren East for a 4A District 1 battle on Friday, September 20. Calloway County will play a Raiders team coming off a 43-14 non-league win over Warren Central (Bowling Green, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 3-1.
