Wilton Beavers (Wilton, IA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Camanche Indians (Camanche, IA), 38-10 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Wilton advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Beavers travel to Beckman (Dyersville, IA) to play the Trailblazers in a 1A District 5 battle on Friday, September 20. The Trailblazers go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Beckman lost 21-14 in their recent non-league battle against Alburnett (Alburnett, IA)
The Indians now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Northeast for a 2A District 4 battle on Friday, September 20. Camanche will play a Rebels team coming off a 39-33 non-league win over Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA). The Rebels record now stands at 3-0.
