The Collinsville Kahoks felled the host Carbondale Terriers football team by a score of 27-8 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Kahoks face the Mt. Vernon Rams (Mt. Vernon, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. Collinsville will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 37-34 league loss to Marion (Marion, IL).

The Terriers (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cahokia (Cahokia, IL). The Comanches go into the South Seven challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Cahokia toppled Granite City (Granite City, IL), 76-0, in a non-league challenge.
