The Cascade Cougars edged the visiting Monticello Panthers football team by a score of 20-15 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars face the West Branch Bears (West Branch, IA) in a 1A District 5 challenge, on Friday, September 20. Cascade will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 49-7 non-league win over Columbus (Waterloo, IA).
