The Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets walloped the visiting Crowley Gent football team by a score of 54-12 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Archbishop Hannan Hawks (Covington, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. Catholic of Pointe Coupee will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 31-7 non-league loss to Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA).
The Gent (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, East Beauregard was ripped by Opelousas Catholic (Opelousas, LA), 55-8, in a non-league challenge.
