The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Westside Rebels (Coal Hill, AR) and the host Cedarville Pirates (Cedarville, AR), witnessed Westside's football squad knock off Cedarville by a tally of 36-14.

The Rebels (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Ida (Mount Ida, AR). The Lions enter the 2A Region 1 contest with a 1-1 record.

Coming up next, the Pirates battle the Booneville Bearcats (Booneville, AR) in a 3A Region 1 contest, on Friday, September 27. Cedarville will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Bearcats enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 35-9 non-league win over Paris (Paris, AR).
