Alabama High School Football - Cherokee County trounces Etowah

In Friday's league match, the host Cherokee County Warriors football squad scored a decisive 42-0 triumph over the Etowah Blue Devils.

The Warriors (3-1) will now prepare for their match against White Plains (Anniston, AL). The Wildcats come into the 4A Region 6 match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, White Plains was routed by Hokes Bluff (Hokes Bluff, AL), 31-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils confront the Ashville Bulldogs (Ashville, AL) in a 4A Region 6 match, on Friday, September 20. Etowah will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 33-20 league win over Oneonta (Oneonta, AL).
