In their next game, the Golden Lions face the Loop Longhorns (Loop, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. Christ the King Cathedral will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 51-6 non-league win over Meadow (Meadow, TX).

The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Eden (Eden, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Eden was ripped by Lometa (Lometa, TX), 42-12, in a non-league challenge.
