The Zimmerman Thunder walloped the visiting Columbia Heights Hylanders football team by a score of 41-8 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Thunder face the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MN) in a Skyway - Silver challenge, on Friday, September 20. Zimmerman will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 28-6 non-league win over Willmar (Willmar, MN).
The Hylanders (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Venture Academy/Exploration/Hiawatha Collegiate (Minneapolis, MN). The enter the Skyway - Blue challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Venture Academy/Exploration/Hiawatha Collegiate was ripped by Minneapolis South (Minneapolis, MN), 42-20, in a non-league challenge.
