The Crofton Warriors were victorious over the visiting Plainview Pirates football team by a score of 44-34 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Bloomfield Bees (Bloomfield, NE) in a D1 District 3 (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, September 20. Crofton will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Bees enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 64-6 non-league win over Wakefield (Wakefield, NE).
The Pirates (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Elkhorn Valley (Tilden, NE). The Falcons enter the D1 District 4 (8 Man) challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Elkhorn Valley ran past Humphrey-Lindsay (Humphrey, NE), 58-0, in a non-league challenge.
