North Carolina High School Football - South Central prevails Currituck County

September 13, 2024: Barco, NC 27917

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting South Central Falcons football squad scored a good 34-7 triumph over the Currituck County Knights.

The Falcons (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC). The Monarchs come into the 3A/4A Big Carolina match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Northside - Jacksonville went down by White Oak (Jacksonville, NC), 48-6, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Knights meet the Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC) in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal match, on Friday, September 20. Currituck County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bears come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 28-21 non-league loss to Bertie (Windsor, NC).
