The Normal West Wildcats football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Danville Vikings to 14 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bloomington for a Big Twelve test on Friday, September 20. Normal West will meet a Purple Raiders squad coming off a 41-8 league win over Manual (Peoria, IL). The Purple Raiders record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, Danville drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Centennial (Champaign, IL) to meet the Chargers in a Big Twelve test on Friday, September 20. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 2-1. Centennial won 32-0 in their recent league test against Richwoods (Peoria, IL)
