The Northwood Panthers (Saltville, VA) football trounced the visiting Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA), 36-0 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Panthers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chilhowie for a Hogoheegee outing on Friday, September 20. Northwood will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 28-14 non-league loss to Narrows (Narrows, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Eastern Montgomery drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA) to clash with the Pioneers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 27. The Pioneers come into the outing with a record of 0-3.
