The Eau Claire Beavers edged the visiting Tri-Unity Christian Defenders football team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Beavers face the Martin Clippers (Martin, MI) in a Southwestern Michigan II (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, September 20. Eau Claire will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Clippers enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 52-22 non-league win over Our Lady of the Lake Catholic (St. Joseph, MI).
The Defenders (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Gobles (Gobles, MI). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record.
