Washington High School Football - Edmonds-Woodway overwhelmed by Monroe

In Friday's league game, the Monroe Bearcats (Monroe, WA) football team triumphed over the host Edmonds-Woodway Warriors (Edmonds, WA), by a tally of 56-0.

In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Shorewood Stormrays (Shoreline, WA) in a 3A Wesco game, on Friday, September 20. Monroe will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Stormrays enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 47-14 non-league win over Meadowdale (Lynnwood, WA).

The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Everett (Everett, WA). The Seagulls enter the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Everett was trounced by Shorecrest (Seattle, WA), 35-6, in a non-league game.
