The Johnston City Indians football squad scored 14 points and limited the host Eldorado Eagles to 0 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairfield for a Black Diamond test on Friday, September 20. Johnston City will meet a Mules squad coming off a 8-6 league loss to Sesser-Valier/Waltonville (Sesser, IL). The Mules record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Eldorado drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Flora (Flora, IL) to meet the Wolves in a Black Diamond test on Friday, September 20. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 2-1. Flora won 35-22 in their recent league test against Edwards County (Albion, IL)
