The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the River Oaks Mustangs (Monroe, LA) and the visiting Franklin Academy Cougars (Winnsboro, LA), witnessed River Oaks's football squad wallop Franklin Academy by a tally of 38-0.

The Mustangs (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Prairie View Academy (Bastrop, LA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Prairie View Academy crushed Sylva Bay Academy (Bay Springs, MS), 33-24, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Wilkinson County Christian Academy Rams (Woodville, MS) in a MAIS 8-Man 1A District 3 (8 Man) contest, on Friday, September 27. Franklin Academy will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record.
