Nebraska High School Football - Franklin overwhelmed by Hitchcock County

September 13, 2024: Franklin, NE 68939

In Friday's non-league game, the Hitchcock County Falcons (Trenton, NE) football team triumphed over the host Franklin Flyers (Franklin, NE), by a tally of 66-6.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Overton Eagles (Overton, NE) in a D2 District 8 (8 Man) game, on Friday, September 20. Hitchcock County will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 3-0 record after their 38-28 non-league win over Elm Creek (Elm Creek, NE).

The Flyers (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Kenesaw (Kenesaw, NE). The Blue Devils enter the D2 District 5 (8 Man) game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Kenesaw was trounced by Bruning-Davenport/Shickley (Bruning, NE), 56-18, in a non-league game.
