Washington High School Football - Rogers can't hold off Freeman

Freeman Scotties (Rockford, WA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Rogers Pirates (Spokane, WA), 21-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Freeman advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Scotties host Northwest Christian School (Colbert, WA) to play the Crusaders in a 2B Bi-County battle on Friday, September 20. The Crusaders go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Northwest Christian School won 48-8 in their recent non-league battle against Bonners Ferry (Bonners Ferry, ID)

The Pirates now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Clarkston for a 2A Greater Spokane battle on Thursday, September 19. Rogers will play a Bantams team coming off a 49-0 non-league loss to Lewiston (Lewiston, ID). The Bantams record now stands at 0-2.
