The Moline Maroons football squad scored 51 points and limited the host Geneseo Maple Leafs to 21 in the Maroons league triumph on Friday.

The Maroons now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Quincy for a Western Big 6 test on Friday, September 20. Moline will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 48-7 league win over Rock Island (Rock Island, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, Geneseo drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Maple leafs travel to East Moline United (East Moline, IL) to meet the Panthers in a Western Big 6 test on Friday, September 20. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-2. East Moline United lost 27-26 in their recent league test against Sterling (Sterling, IL)
