The Glastonbury Guardians football squad scored 41 points and limited the visiting Platt Panthers to 27 in the Guardians league triumph on Friday.
The Guardians now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Maloney for a Central Connecticut - Tier 1 test on Thursday, September 19. Glastonbury will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 42-13 non-league loss to New Canaan (New Canaan, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.
