The Grants Pass Cavemen walloped the visiting McNary Celtics football team by a score of 49-9 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Cavemen face the North Salem Vikings (Salem, OR) in a 6A Special District 1 challenge, on Friday, September 20. Grants Pass will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 28-6 league loss to South Medford (Medford, OR).
The Celtics (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sprague (Salem, OR). The Olympians go into the 6A Special District 1 challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Sprague bounced North Medford (Medford, OR), 36-12, in a league challenge.
