In their next game, the Spartans face the Ladue Horton Watkins Rams (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. Hazelwood East will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 28-14 league loss to Lindbergh (St. Louis, MO).

The Comets (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rockwood Summit (Fenton, MO). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Rockwood Summit bounced Oakville (St. Louis, MO), 28-25, in a non-league challenge.
