Louisiana High School Football - Northeast thwarted by Helix Mentorship STEAM Academy

Helix Mentorship STEAM Academy (Baton Rouge, LA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Northeast Vikings (Pride, LA), 36-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Helix Mentorship STEAM Academy improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The travel to Port Allen (Port Allen, LA) to play the Pelicans in a 3A District 6 battle on Friday, September 27. The Pelicans go into the battle with a record of 0-2.

The Vikings now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to East Iberville for a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. Northeast will play a Tigers team coming off a 32-6 non-league win over Capitol (Baton Rouge, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
