The Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) football tipped the host Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV), 13-7 in Friday's league outing.

The Huskies now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sissonville for a Cardinal outing on Friday, September 27.

With the defeat, Nitro drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV) to clash with the Tigers in a Cardinal outing on Friday, September 20. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Chapmanville Regional lost 28-14 in their recent league outing against Winfield (Winfield, WV)
