The Wausa/Osmond (Wausa, NE) football knocked off the host Homer Knights (Homer, NE), 30-13 in Friday's non-league outing.

The now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Boyd County for a D1 District 3 (8 Man) outing on Friday, September 20. Wausa/Osmond will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 48-38 non-league win over St. Mary's (O'Neill, NE). The Spartans record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Homer drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE) to clash with the Bluejays in a D1 District 2 (8 Man) outing on Friday, September 20. The Bluejays come into the outing with a record of 3-0. Guardian Angels Central Catholic won 48-14 in their recent non-league outing against Mead (Mead, NE)
