Oldham-Ramona/Rutland Rutland (Ramona, SD) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Irene/Wakonda Eagles (Irene, SD), 24-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Rutland travel to Arlington (Arlington, SD) to play the Cardinals in a Dakota Valley (9 Man) battle on Friday, September 20. The Cardinals go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Arlington won 34-14 in their recent league battle against Sioux Falls Lutheran (Sioux Falls, SD)

The Eagles now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Gayville-Volin for a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. Irene/Wakonda will play a Raiders team coming off a 68-40 non-league loss to Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy (Freeman, SD). The Raiders record now stands at 1-2.
