Michigan High School Football - Kettering thwarted by Lakeland

Lakeland Eagles (White Lake, MI) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Kettering Captains (Waterford, MI), 41-21 in a league battle.

With the win, Lakeland improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Eagles host Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI) to play the Vikings in a Lakes Valley battle on Friday, September 20. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Walled Lake Central lost 28-27 in their recent league battle against Mott (Waterford, MI)

The Captains now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to South Lyon East for a Lakes Valley battle on Friday, September 20. Kettering will play a Cougars team coming off a 41-0 league win over Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.
