In Friday's league match, the visiting Westwood Rebels football squad scored a good 35-14 triumph over the Kingsley-Pierson Panthers.
The Rebels (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Tri-Center (Neola, IA). The Trojans come into the A District 8 match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Tri-Center defeated West Monona (Onawa, IA), 56-6, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Panthers meet the St. Albert Falcons (Council Bluffs, IA) in a A District 8 match, on Friday, September 20. Kingsley-Pierson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Falcons come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 40-14 non-league loss to Underwood (Underwood, IA).
