The Klamath Union Pelicans football squad scored 27 points and limited the host La Pine Hawks to 26 in the Pelicans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pelicans now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host South Umpqua for a non-league test on Friday, September 20. Klamath Union will meet a Lancers squad coming off a 42-7 non-league win over Elmira (Elmira, OR). The Lancers record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, La Pine drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Hawks host Madras (Madras, OR) to meet the White Buffaloes in a 3A Special District 3 test on Thursday, September 19. The White Buffaloes come into the test with a record of 0-2. Madras lost 39-0 in their recent non-league test against Burns (Burns, OR)
