West Ridge Wolves (Blountville, TN) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Lakeway Christian Academy Lions (Morristown, TN), 22-16 in a non-league battle.

With the win, West Ridge advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Wolves travel to William Blount (Maryville, TN) to play the Governors in a 6A Region 1 battle on Friday, September 20. The Governors go into the battle with a record of 2-3. William Blount won 34-33 in their recent league battle against Morristown-Hamblen East (Morristown, TN)

The Lions now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Christian Academy of Knoxville for a Division II-AA East battle on Friday, September 20. Lakeway Christian Academy will play a Warriors team coming off a 35-14 league loss to Grace Christian Academy (Knoxville, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 1-4.
