The Prairie Pirates football squad scored 68 points and limited the visiting Lapwai Wildcats to 14 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Kamiah for a 2A Central Idaho test on Friday, September 20. Prairie will meet a Kubs squad coming off a 64-20 league loss to Logos (Moscow, ID). The Kubs record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Lapwai drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Potlatch (Potlatch, ID) to meet the Loggers in a 2A Central Idaho test on Friday, September 20. The Loggers come into the test with a record of 3-0. Potlatch won 46-20 in their recent league test against Clearwater Valley (Kooskia, ID)
