Texas High School Football - Weslaco defeats Laredo LBJ

In Friday's non-league bout, the host Weslaco Panthers football team scored a nice 27-8 win over the Laredo LBJ Wolves.

With the win, Weslaco advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to United (Laredo, TX) to encounter the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 21. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 2-1. United won 28-0 in their recent non-league bout against San Benito (San Benito, TX)

The Wolves now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Mission Veterans Memorial for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 19. Laredo LBJ will encounter a Patriots team coming off a 34-0 non-league loss to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 0-3.
