Texas High School Football - Pinkston loses to McCallum

McCallum Knights (Austin, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Pinkston Vikings (Dallas, TX), 71-51 in a non-league battle.

With the win, McCallum advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Knights host Elgin (Elgin, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 5A-2 Region III District 11 battle on Friday, September 20. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 0-3. Elgin lost 67-26 in their recent non-league battle against Montgomery (Montgomery, TX)

The Vikings now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Kimball for a 4A-1 Region II District 8 battle on Friday, September 20. Pinkston will play a Knights team coming off a 36-33 non-league loss to Midlothian (Midlothian, TX). The Knights record now stands at 1-2.
