With the win, New Braunfels Christian Academy improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Wildcats host D'Hanis (D'Hanis, TX) to play the Cowboys in a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. The Cowboys go into the battle with a record of 1-1. D'Hanis won 32-7 in their recent non-league battle against John Paul II (New Braunfels, TX)

The Bulldogs now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Burton for a 2A-2 Region IV District 13 battle on Friday, September 27. McDade will play a Panthers team coming off a 28-7 non-league loss to Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
