The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM) and the host Mescalero Apache Chiefs (Mescalero, NM), witnessed Mesilla Valley Christian School's football squad wallop Mescalero Apache by a tally of 64-14.

The SonBlazers (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM). The Warriors enter the 8-Man District 3 (8 Man) contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Gateway Christian crushed Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM), 58-20, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Chiefs battle the Hagerman/Lake Arthur Bobcats (Hagerman, NM) in a 8-Man District 3 (8 Man) contest, on Friday, September 20. Mescalero Apache will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Bobcats enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 52-0 league loss to Melrose (Melrose, NM).
