Connecticut High School Football - Valley Regional/Old Lyme tops Morgan

The Valley Regional/Old Lyme Warriors football squad scored 23 points and limited the host Morgan Huskies to 13 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Windsor Locks/Suffield/East Granby for a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. Valley Regional/Old Lyme will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 24-7 league loss to Ellington (Ellington, CT). The Raiders record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Morgan drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Rockville (Vernon, CT) to meet the Rams in a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. The Rams come into the test with a record of 1-0. Rockville won 48-6 in their recent league test against Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton/Lyman Memorial (Coventry, CT)
