Nebraska High School Football - Norfolk can't hold off North Platte

September 13, 2024: Norfolk, NE 68701

North Platte Bulldogs (North Platte, NE) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Norfolk Panthers (Norfolk, NE), 34-31 in a non-league battle.

With the win, North Platte advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE) to play the Rockets in a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. The Rockets go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Lincoln Northeast won 77-0 in their recent non-league battle against Benson (Omaha, NE)

The Panthers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln Southeast for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 19. Norfolk will play a Knights team coming off a 24-0 non-league loss to Creighton Prep (Omaha, NE). The Knights record now stands at 2-1.
