In Friday's non-league match, the host Snook Bluejays football squad scored a close 27-20 triumph over the Normangee Panthers.
The Bluejays (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Somerville (Somerville, TX). The Yeguas come into the 2A-2 Region IV District 13 match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Somerville tipped Hempstead (Hempstead, TX), 21-14, in a non-league match.
