The Oakland Oakers walloped the host Weston-McEwen/Griswold Tiger Scots football team by a score of 36-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Oakers face the Salem Academy Crusaders (Salem, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. Oakland will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 35-6 non-league win over Nestucca (Cloverdale, OR).

The Tiger Scots (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Stanfield (Stanfield, OR). The Tigers enter the 2A Special District 6 (9 Man) challenge with a 1-0 record.
