The Sequoia Pathway Academy Pumas football team (Maricopa, AZ), was crushed 65-0 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Phoenix Christian Cougars (Phoenix, AZ)

With the win, Phoenix Christian advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Cougars host Glendale Prep Academy (Glendale, AZ) to battle the Griffins in a 2A Agua Fria game on Thursday, September 19. The Griffins enter the game with a record of 2-1. Glendale Prep Academy won 24-14 in their recent non-league game against Arete Prep (Gilbert, AZ)

The Pumas (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Chandler Prep (Chandler, AZ). The Titans enter the 2A Salt game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Chandler Prep was trounced by Miami (Miami, AZ), 32-0, in a non-league game.
