The Poplar Indians got by the host Wibaux Longhorns football team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Indians play the Forsyth Dogies (Forsyth, MT) in a C - East (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, September 20. Poplar will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Dogies go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 56-18 league loss to Carter County (Ekalaka, MT).
The Longhorns (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Scobey/Opheim (Scobey, MT). The Spartans go into the C - East (8 Man) challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Scobey/Opheim nipped Plentywood (Plentywood, MT), 36-18, in a league challenge.
