The Red Oak Tigers felled the host West Central Valley Wildcats football team by a score of 30-22 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers play the Treynor Cardinals (Treynor, IA) in a 1A District 8 challenge, on Friday, September 20. Red Oak will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 20-6 non-league win over Clarinda (Clarinda, IA).
The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against South Hamilton (Jewell, IA). The Hawks go into the 1A District 7 challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, South Hamilton was dropped by Roland-Story (Story City, IA), 56-0, in a non-league challenge.
