Michigan High School Football - Reese nudges Vassar

In Friday's league match, the host Reese Rockets football squad scored a close 28-26 victory over the Vassar Vulcans.

The Rockets (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI). The Patriots enter the Big Thumb - Black match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Unionville-Sebewaing was nudged by Marlette (Marlette, MI), 24-22, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Vulcans confront the Harbor Beach Pirates (Harbor Beach, MI) in a Big Thumb - Black match, on Friday, September 20. Vassar will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 45-6 league win over Ubly (Ubly, MI).
