The Rockridge Rockets felled the host Riverdale Rams football team by a score of 48-20 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Rockets face the Erie-Prophetstown Panthers (Erie, IL) in a Three Rivers - Rock challenge, on Friday, September 20. Rockridge will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 41-13 league loss to Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL).

The Rams (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mercer County (Aledo, IL). The Golden Eagles go into the Three Rivers - Rock challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Mercer County toppled Orion (Orion, IL), 56-41, in a league challenge.
